Five Proposed Solutions to the Martilyo Gang that did not see the light of day
President Aquino and Sec Mar Roxas has become highly interested in solving the crime spree done by armed or unarmed unidentified individuals in Malls around the city. One solution that the the Malls and Security Groups have come up with is to ban the sale of hammers and crowbars in the mall since the Martilyo - Filipino word for hammer - Gang buys and use them when stealing. This was met a howl of protests. Lately updates seems to indicate you can buy a hammer but you can only get it after you leave the mall.
Anyway, we are still lucky since other proposals were submitted but wisely done away with. Here are the top five vetoed proposals to stop the Mattlyo Gang crime wave.
5. Ban the selling of kitchen and cleaning products.
4. Ban cars from the Mall parking lots.
3. Ban mega sales
2. Ban Malls
1. Ban Anderson Cooper from Philippine Malls
